Welcome to my page. My name is Karen (a good Karen!). I wanted to create a quick post to introduce myself.
How did I end up creating jewelry
I have been working for the past 30 years as a digital technologist in the corporate banking world. After retiring from banking, I was looking for something new and challenging to pursue. I have always loved jewelry and thought that I could start making my own jewelry for myself. As time has passed, I have had many offers for me to make jewelry for others. Fast forward, and after many months of practice doing other designs, I am hooked!!!! I have been having a wonderful time creating unique and pretty jewelry that I want to share with the rest of you. Once I had a pretty good inventory of wares, I thought it would be fun to attend a market on the weekends as well as create an online store for those who cannot attend the market.
Life at the Beach
I live in a beautiful beach community in the Florida Panhandle. I have a wonderful husband, two grown children and two wonderful pups that love their walks. My husband loves to fish and he is out in the Gulf of Mexico on a regular basis. When I am not at the beach, you can find me in Canada visiting my family and friends. (I am originally from there.)
Markets, Fairs and Bears?
I am having a blast with attending local community markets. It has been such a pleasure meeting the town folk as well as the visitors to our area. I will be keeping my site, Facebook and Instagram updated on the market schedules. If you are ever in the Panhandle, please drop by and say ‘hi’. When we finally meet, ask me about Memory Bears!
